Bright Mind Financial Advisory Joint Stock was first cofounded by Mr. Trong Nguyen and Mr. Roy Nguyen in 2019 to provide Financial Advisory on investment for investors in Vietnam. During the Covid-19 pandemic, the trade ties between the U.S and Vietnam, as well as among other countries were mostly disconnected. It sparked the ideas from the founders that they wanted to bridge and connect businesses in different countries, starting with Vietnam and the States. This has brought Mr. Michael Easley, Ms. Vy Lam, and other additional strategic partners in the US on board.
The group mission is to bring the businesses and investors together. It will also uses its rich cross-border knowledge in accounting, finance, investments as well as immigration experience to guide businesses through their journey from establishing a new business to grow sustainably in a new country.
In 2021, Bright Mind branched out in California and Texas. With the operation in Vietnam, creating a Trinity to provide cross-border services with instant accesses to local business network and markets.

Trong Nguyen
Co-Founder/Advisor
MBA Finance, Entrepreneur
Mr. Trong Nguyen earned a Master Degree in Finance in California. After 12 years of working and living in the States, Trong came back and established his career in Vietnam in 2007. He had since mainly hold leading positions for Securities Corporations in Vietnam. In the most recent 9 years, he committed his time for HSC Securities as The Director of Sales and Brokerages before he established his own company in 2019.
With his valuable advices, he has led many million-dollar investment deals into success, namely the project of RouteOne Investment in 2012-2018, which was worth of US $250 million; YEAH1 project in 2018 with a value of US $ 100 million. Mr. Trong also participated in the M&A deal between Vinamilk and Jardines Hong Kong with acquisition value of US$1.6 billion and assisted HD Bank in raising US $400 million from 15 off-shore funds.
In 2019, with his extensive connection with financial institutions, corporates, and individual investors, Mr. Trong founded Bright Mind Financial Advisory JSC, to provide advisory services in stock, bond, and real estate investments, as well as conducting corporate restructuring services: strategy, finance, and products.
Roy Nguyen
Co-Founder/Director – California Branch

Mr. Roy Nguyen acquired his Accounting Degree in Canada. He also possesses 20 years of experience working as the CFO at Minh Phu Group US. The business has approximately US $300 million annual revenues with clients such as Costco , Sysco , Walmart , Wholefoods etc…
Roy has rich experience in accounting, handling audits and lawsuits from IRS, California Franchise Tax Board, Department of commerce and CBP. One of his top achievement was wining a case that brought back millions of dollars in tax refunds for the company.
Roy also has strong network with top DC attorney in international trade, local CPAs and Attorneys on Foreign Acquisition for the merger of Vietnam Corporate and US Branch, as well as bank executives.
Vy Lam
Director – Texas Branch

Ms. Vy Lam earned her designations in Canada and built up 18 years of experience working for multi-national companies in different countries. She brought to the team her solid skills in Internal Audit, Corporate Finance and System Implementation.
Her career highlights associate with her success in consolidating the financial structure and reporting system for Viet Thai Group, which running multiple businesses including Highlands Coffee and Aldo Vietnam. During this time, she assisted in the acquisition and merging of Pho 24 into the group and successfully led the tax team to pass the tax audit post-acquisition. In her most recent 3 years working as the Head of Finance at Pizza Hut Vietnam, she was a part of Pizza Hut success in expanding its operations from 64 to 98 stores in Vietnam and raising $5million US from Jardine Pacific to fund this expansion.
Vy moved to the US in 2020 and has continued to provide CFO services and system implementation consulting to different businesses in the US.
Michael B. Easley

Michael B. Easley, CPA is a seasoned business consultant and entrepreneur. In Mike’s 40-year plus career as a certified public accountant, he has assisted hundreds of entrepreneurs in all facets of “a successful deal”, including valuation, acquisition, disposition, due diligence, negotiation, mergers & acquisitions, family succession, and tax structure optimization. Individually, Mike invests in, directs and owns a variety of privately held businesses.
As president of BioCapital Holdings, LLC, Mike oversees the company’s research and development programs, intellectual property product selections and advancement, investor relations and financial growth. BioCapital’s growing success presents significant hurdles, but promises tremendous rewards.
As a founder and director at EEPB CPA’s & Business Advisors, one of Houston’s top 25 CPA firms founded in 1987, Mike oversees a wide variety of domestic and international tax and business issues.
He is a 1975 honors graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University. Participating in several community charitable organizations, Mike takes an active role in Houston’s future.
